Is there a connection behind the food you ate and your behavior? Are you a physical and emotional wreck? Are you hyperactive? Are you losing control of your children and do not know why? Are you struggling with health issues, memory lapses and chronic pain without knowing how to get help for? How many of you are told that you have too much stress in your life, your need some type of tranquilizer or that there is nothing wrong with you? For many it is the food that is causing these symptoms. With nutritional therapy many, if not most, symptoms can be brought under control. When working with nutritional therapy you must give up “dead food”. Dead food is referring to processed and refined foods, refined sugar, white flour, chemical additives, trans-fat, “natural flavoring”, MSG, caffeine, alcohol, and chocolate. NEVER use artificial sweeteners. Many of your symptoms are caused by food deficiencies. Yes, in America, we have nutritional deficiencies although we are the fattest nation. More and more Americans are providing less micro-nutrient we need to survive and function normally. How, overloading your body with fat, refined carbohydrates, salt, and pure junk. These nutritional deficiencies and imbalances can impair brain function which can cause bizarre behavior. You are what you eat it is more true than you know. Our nutrition affects our molecules in every cell and every molecule of our body. With proper diet our bodies will function normally. With wrong nutrition we accumulate high levels of toxins which are also a culprit to your behavior by causing emotional and behavioral disorders. These toxins can include high levels of lead, mercury or cadmium. To reverse this process of disorders is to do the following. A simple diet of fresh, whole, natural foods, such as fresh fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts, eggs and lean meat, such as: organic chicken, turkey and fish. A lot of healthy snacking is required to keep your blood sugar levels at their optimal levels. This is absolutely necessary for your brain to function normally. You need to be sure you are getting your daily allowance, for your body, in fiber. This diet will not cure every type of emotional, psychological and behavioral disorder, some really need medical help. Many cannot receive all their daily nutrients in the whole foods we eat because of how our soil is depleted of their minerals. For many another primary tools will be to add vitamins, minerals, food supplements, and detoxifying the body of toxins. When working with each individual you must take into account that there is no one-size-fits-all type. When determining exactly what you need you have to concentrate on your specific needs and responses. The common denominator for all is to give your brain the proper nutrition, including all essential nutrients. One of the most powerful tools available to you is dietary therapy; however getting people to change their current diet is a challenge because it is comfort food for most. If your brain is not functioning properly, it is hard to think, live and maintain a new lifestyle. Some people do not like change, however to reach the optimal, healthy lifestyle that we are meant to live you must take charge of your own health. If you are suffering in any way with nutritional deficiency get help. If your child is suffering from nutritional deficiency you owe it to your child to get him or her the help that is needed so that thy can have a chance in life, without complication from behavioral, emotional or other “disorders”.
