The American Diversity Report (ADR)attracted 1,000 unique viewers per week In December. What brings this readership to our diversity effort? One reason is the growing recognition that diversity is a major challenge in our changing world and the American Diversity Report is an asset and resource for meeting that challenge. A second reason is the mix of writers for the ADR. Local writers join national writers and make the American Diversity Report a unique forum of quot;real diversity for real people." Veteran and emerging writers share the cyberspace stage and give texture and depth to the articles. They cover a broad range of topics including Business, Cultural Diversity, Arts and Culture, Health and Wellness, Professional Development, Community and Religious Diversity. Our appreciation and gratitude goes to our staff writers and more than 2 dozen contributing writers who share our vision and desire to inspire decision makers. Perhaps most importantly, the sections of the magazine reflect a broad definition of diversity which is useful to leaders across a wide variety of industries, cultural communities and community services. With news, commentary and motivational writing, the American Diversity Report is a resource for developing and training decision makers in a global environment. We expect our readers to return to the site throughout the month as new articles are posted every week. The American Diversity Report publishes many articles that may not necessarily reflect the views of its editor, but contain educational, personal and often inspirational stories that reflect our diverse cultural experiences and beliefs. We understand the controversial nature of the series (see our Archives) and welcome Letters to the Editor in response. Also, while several of our interviewees have expressed political endorsements and opinions, it is not our intention to endorse candidates or particular legislation. We welcome viewers' responses and encourage you to e-mail us your thoughts and to share this magazine with friends and colleagues. |
