Our Changing Future: September 27

A basic tool of leadership and planning is an understanding of the changing demographics in our environment. We have always been a diverse country, but we are now in the middle of the largest wave of immigration in a century. Our strategies for the workplace, business marketing and urban planning should all reflect the changing world. My generation, the boomers, are a transitional group, thrust into the technology age and a global economy. Understanding the changing future, we need to help upcoming generations to successfully steer the ship.
